Wardrobe Ltd. Fee Structure

The fee structure is based upon the final sale price of an item. It is not based upon how much an item was originally purchased for or an sales estimate given to the consignor by Wardrobe Ltd. Minimum prices may be set on specific items if the consignor so chooses. The fee structure of Wardrobe Ltd. is as follows:

·         The flat rate percentages that Wardrobe Ltd. receives for the sale of an item are based on the amount of the final sale price of a single item as follows:

o   $0.01 to $999.99 = 30%

o   $1,000.00 to $4,999.99 = 20%

o   $5,000.00 and Above = 10%

·         The consignor will receive the remaining percentage. The consignor in most cases will be subject to Ebay and PayPal fees (which usually are around 10% to 15% of the sale price, but this varies according to how much the item sells for). The consignor will also be subject to shipping insurance costs. In addition, the consignor will be liable for any cleaning fees of an item.

·         If a consignor decides that they want an item returned to them after it has been released to be sold and the item is currently listed on Ebay, there will be a $50 processing fee for removing the item during the auction.

·         Items that do not sell on Ebay will then be taken to local retail affiliates of Wardrobe Ltd. that buy designer clothing outright, and do not consign the items. If none of these affiliates wish to purchase an item, then that item may, with consignors written consent, be donated on the behalf of the consignor (a donation receipt may be provided upon request) or it may be returned to the consignor, if they so wish.

·         Items that do not sell on Ebay will still be liable for any applicable Ebay or cleaning fees regardless of whether it is sold to an affiliate of Wardrobe Ltd., returned to the consignor, or donated on the consignor’s behalf.
